So you have decided to sell your bridal gown. Great choice! Here are the guidelines to consign wedding dresses with us at Tilly Bella Bridal. We accept wedding gowns and bridal-related items for bridal resale on a case-by-case basis. All items must be dry cleaned, in excellent condition, and free from damage at the time of drop-off. The acceptance of items is at the sole discretion of Tilly Bella Bridal. The dress must be no later than 5 years old and purchased for $1800 or more. Vintage dresses are accepted up to 1980, and some styles from 1980-1999 will be considered. However, no Y2K items are accepted.
Pricing for bridal resale at Tilly Bella Bridal is determined by factors such as condition, designer, market demand, and resale value. When you consign wedding dresses, prices may be adjusted or reduced over time to facilitate a sale. Consignors will be notified of any price changes and agreed upon when applicable, ensuring a smooth process for those looking to sell bridal gowns through our wedding dress consignment service.
Items are consigned for an agreed-upon period through Tilly Bella Bridal. If a wedding dress does not sell during this time, the consignor is responsible for picking it up by the specified deadline. Items not picked up by the deadline may become property of Tilly Bella Bridal or be donated at our discretion. This policy applies to those looking to sell bridal gowns and participate in bridal resale and wedding dress consignment.
Payment is issued after the item has sold and the transaction is complete when you choose to consign wedding dresses through Tilly Bella Bridal. Payouts are made according to the agreed commission split for those who decide to sell bridal gowns. However, no payment is due for items that do not sell.
At Tilly Bella Bridal, we take reasonable care of all consigned wedding dresses. However, we cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, fire, water damage, or other unforeseen circumstances that are beyond our control. To ensure your peace of mind, consignors are encouraged to maintain personal insurance if desired when they choose to sell bridal gowns through our wedding dress consignment program.
Any alterations or cleaning required to prepare an item for bridal resale, including those to consign wedding dresses, will only be performed with the consignor's approval. Approved costs related to selling your bridal gown may be deducted from the final payout when using Tilly Bella Bridal for wedding dress consignment.
If a consignor wishes to withdraw an item, such as a bridal resale item or a wedding dress consignment, before the end of the consignment period at Tilly Bella Bridal, written notice is required. Please note that early withdrawal fees may apply if you decide to sell your bridal gown before the consignment term ends.
All sales of bridal resale items, including wedding dress consignment, are final. No refunds or exchanges are offered with Tilly Bella Bridal.
By consigning items for bridal resale, the consignor confirms they are the legal owner and have the right to sell the bridal gown. These terms constitute the full agreement between the consignor and Tilly Bella Bridal, which specializes in wedding dress consignment.
All wedding dress consignment items will be dropped off at Tilly Bella Bridal or shipped to Tilly Bella at the owner's expense. A stocking fee of $25 is required and is non refundable. A fee of $25 is required to book a dress try on appointment with Tilly Bella Bridal.
